Lidia graduated from Novgorod State University named after Yaroslav the Wise in 1997 with Roman-German philology major.
She began her career as an English teacher in 1997 at school No. 323 of the Nevsky District of St. Petersburg. In 1999, she became the head of the methodological association of foreign language teachers and was engaged in the development of programmes and the selection of textbooks for primary and secondary students. In 2001 Lidia was awarded 1st qualification category.
In 2003 she became an assistant teacher in the Department of Foreign Languages for Natural Sciences at the Herzen State Pedagogical University, and in 2004 she became a senior teacher in this department and taught English to students of the faculties of biology, computer science, life safety and physical education. In 2006, she, together with her colleagues, prepared for publication a manual for students of the faculty of life safety..
Currently, Lidia is a teacher of English at the ITMO university and she teaches general English and ESP courses for students of several faculties.
She is interested in modern methods of teaching foreign languages, practical translation and English literature.
