Elimination of academic debt
The Elimination of academic debt is carried out within the framework of PPA1 and PPA2. The scope of work required to eliminate academic debt within the PPA is determined by the instructor (PPA1) or a commission (PPA2), based on the completion of the semester's study program.

Bachelors: Within the framework of PPA1, students who scored 0-59 points submit the course material and checkpoints to the instructor, then take a credit test during consultations.
Masters: Within the framework of PPA1, master's students submit the course material, then take the credit test and submit course assignments during consultations.
If a student does not submit the course material, checkpoints, or credit by February 25, the next opportunity to clear academic debt is only available under the Second attempt.

Commission dates and times are published on ISU. Students receive confirmation from FLTC via email (the one used during registration) the day before the commission.
If a student registers but fails to attend without a valid reason, the commission result will be marked as "no-show".
Bachelors
Bachelors
Track 1: Bachelor's students with 48-59 points (inclusive) at the time of the Second attempt of repeat interim exams take the commission credit test.
If a student fails to take the credit test or receives an "unsatisfactory" grade from the commission, the discipline grade under PPA is "not passed."
Track 2: Bachelor's students with 0-47 points (inclusive) at the time of the second attempt repeat interim exams.
Mandatory entry condition for the Second attempt — control minimum
All students registered for the second attempt repeat interim exams commission with 0-47 points must take a written test to determine the control minimum proficiency in the course curriculum.
If a student fails the commission's control minimum, the discipline grade under the second attempt repeat interim exams is "not passed".
If a student passes the control minimum, they take the credit test the same day during the commission. If the student fails to take the credit test or receives an "unsatisfactory" grade, the discipline grade under the second attempt repeat interim exams is "not passed".
If you are a 3rd-year bachelor's student with a debt in the ESP (English for Specific Purposes) course, be prepared to show the commission your course work on the website https://fltc.itmo.ru/m/
Masters
Masters
Track 1: Master's students with debts in attendance and/or course work, who have not passed the credit test, take the commission credit test.
If the final result on the credit test (English A1, A2) or course work for English B1.1, Presentation Skills, English for Professional Purposes is 0-59%, the discipline grade under the second attempt repeat interim exams is "not passed"
Track 2: Master's students who missed the entire semester and did not submit course work.
Mandatory entry condition for the second attempt — control minimum
All students registered for the the second attempt repeat interim exams commission who missed the module (semester) must take a written and oral test to determine the control minimum proficiency in the course curriculum.
If a student fails the commission's control minimum, the discipline grade under the second attempt repeat interim exams is "not passed"
If a student passes the control minimum, they take the credit test the same day during the commission. If the final result on the credit test (English A1, A2) or course work for English B1.1, Scientific Writing, English for Professional Purposes is 0-59%, the discipline grade under the second attempt repeat interim exams is "not passed"
